The 39th anniversary of the fateful Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision is soon upon us. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your commitment to protecting the innocent lives of babies that we love so much. It is so important that we hear the Pro-Life message from respected leaders like yourself. Through the years, the Pro-Life movement has not faltered in its belief of the sanctity of human life. We have counted on your support in the past, and I hope you will be able to assist us again.
It is time to once again show the strength of the Pro-Life movement in our community of Columbus. On Sunday, January 29th, we will run a full page signature ad in the Republic to remember all of the precious lives lost to legalized abortion in the 39 years since the Roe v. Wade decision.
We need the name of every concerned Pro-Life Christian in this community for us to be truly effective!
We need your church’s help. Please consider setting up a table in your church to collect signatures these from now until January 22nd. You can identify a member of your church who is active and would be interested in this endeavor. A copy of the signature collection form is available to download We will be asking for a minimum donation of $5.00 per line to simply defray the cost of the ad. The signatures must be turned in no later than Monday morning January 23rd. You can call me and I will be glad to pick them up or simply bring them to our March and Rally on Saturday, January 21st.
Our annual March will take place at 1:30 pm from Indiana Bank and Trust on Washington St. to City Hall where at 2 pm we will have our Rally inside. Please invite your church to attend this important event. I have also enclosed flyers for the event that you can post up in your church and ask that you highly consider putting this information in your church’s bulletin.
As always, Bartholomew County Right to Life appreciates your prayers for the success of this signature ad and our March and Rally. If only one young woman sees this ad and decides to give her baby a chance of life, it will be well worth it.
